What does the Bible tell us?

1 Corinthians 5:9
“ I have written you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people– not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world. But now I am writing you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat.”

1 Corinthians 6:9
“Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”

God spells out sin for us.
Tell us that He hates sin which is why He sent His only Son to die for our sin.

If somebody claims to be a Christian and in the same breath tells you that God condones sin, that God created sin and/or him to sin, he is contradicting God and His Word.

These liberals like to tell you that you cannot know a man’s heart but God tells us that if the Spirit is in his heart, his fruits will reflect It.

We are taught how to discern fellow Christians.
If one calls himself a brother but condones baby murder or any other sin, we know who is NOT in his heart and we are told not to even eat with that one; not to associate with them.

My fellow “democratic” and “liberal” Americans, you are not Christians and if you really are, you don’t belong on that side of the fence, you’re not to even associate with them.
Don’t get upset with me, y’all.

God tells us you’re not Christians, not me telling you that.
I’m just quoting the Big Guy!

The same here goes for all the religions…
The catholic religion supports sin as well as many of the other “Christian cults/religions” such as mormonism, protestantism, etc.

I’m sure there are many mislead individuals who are stuck in these religions and stuck on the democratic/liberal side of reality.
These people may honestly have Christ in their hearts and it’s just a matter of time before they see the truth and it sets them free, to move over to the Christian Conservative side of the house.

Jesus may not have been a democrat or a republican but He NEVER supported/condoned the liberal and democratic religion.

As you can see above, He condemned them!

I’m so sick of political correctness.
It’s got newcasters and normal folks speaking incorrectly and making statements that are misleading.

I’m a white native American.
I was born and raised in the country therefore I’m native to it.
I’m not Italian-American because I do not hold dual-nationality between the two countries.
I’m not an American Indian but I am a native of this country, a native American.
My ancestors came from Europe, Italy and France but again, I’m not a dual national and therefore only American.

When I hear somebody reference a native American, I think, “Wow, that narrows it down to only 300 million of us!”
I hear black folks say that they are African Americans and I think they have dual nationality.

And one more thing…

I am not a Protestant.
I’m only protesting being called a Protestant.
I’m a Christian and it’s not a religion it’s a Faith.

They are not gay, I’m gay, they are unhappy homosexuals!

This could go on and on and on.

Praise Jesus that I’m a native American white boy who is a gay Christian, not homosexual and hates religion.

We celebrate a milestone in war today…
2000 dead in Iraq.

Since I’m not some Godless liberal commie, I would like to present this in the light of reality.
We invaded/liberated that country nearly three years ago and in all of that time, we’ve only lost 2000 in that fight for freedom.
We lost more than that in just a few hours on the morning of September 11th, 2001.
The Godless liberal commies will tell you that that number is too high.
They claim there is a price for freedom, they claim that number is less than one.
There is no draft and this war has gone on long enough now that troops who disagree and don’t want to go can get out of the service.
But that’s not happening. Americans are not being sent to their deaths for empty lies.
They are volunteering to free humans from false islamic gods, free Americans from the immediate threat of islamic terror and high gas prices.

These Godless liberal commies who would rather live in their twisted little realities, sit in their cushy, public tax money funded jobs and whine about not being allowed to marry their homosexuals lovers, need to get a clue.

Yes! Every single death is one too many BUT every last one of us would rather leave the dying and killing to the men and women who know what they are doing instead of that dying and killing coming to our shores and happening to our wives, kids and loved ones.

Praise Jesus for the 2000th death today.
That’s 2000 brave men and women who fought and died for our freedoms; for 20 million Iraqi freedoms; for 300 million American freedoms and that much more peace in the world.

I wrote a letter to a friend, tonight.

It contained this:

“I’ve been thinking about your views of God and His Salvation.
Your beliefs are opposite of mine.
One of us believes that we are given eternal life/salvation.
The other believes that we can lose and regain that salvation/life, that it is not secure.
Only one of us can be right which would mean that the other is wrong.
It would imply that one believes in the True God and the other believes in a lie.
One of us is saved and the other is lost.
If I am wrong, I want to be saved and understand your beliefs.
If I am right, I want you to be saved and in truth as well.

Let’s start this by laying a foundation upon which to build the rest of the discussion.
Let’s qualify the Salvation/Life that God gives us.

Will you please show me, from the Word (The Bible) where God calls salvation/life anything but eternal?

In fact, John 5:24 reads (In Gods own words), “I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.”

John 3:16, famous verse, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned…”

And Romans 8:38 explains, “that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

First Corinthians 13:4 explains that the Love of God keeps no record of wrongs and that it never fails.

So, in order for us to begin this teaching so that we can figure out the truth and both be saved by the true Jesus, let’s set this foundation and begin to learn.

Deal?”

So we’re saved.

You’d think it would end there.
We’ve made it.
God is perfect and He has promised us Eternal Salvation.

There’s a catch:

We’re compelled by the Spirit in us to love and share the Good News of Jesus.
We want *EVERYBODY* to know Jesus and have His Eternal Life.

I was walking in a field and found a treasure.
I buried that treasure and sold everything I owned.
I went and bought that field.
Now that that treasure is mine and I know that no man can take it from me, I want to share it with every last person on the planet.

Now that I know that I have Eternal Life and that I’m saved by the Lord’s Grace, I can rest in Him and be at peace.

How can we *not* want to share that?

So for all my legalistic, catholic, religionist friends; I keep at you, pointing our your false beliefs because I want you to know the truth and share in The Good News.

REJOICE IN THE LORD, REJOICE ALWAYS!

I have a question:

Our local power (utility) company, Xcel Energy, is telling us that our residential heating (natural gas) bills this winter are going to more than double because of the rise in gas prices.
Ok, I can stomach that.
I mean, we all know they are making bank in profits so it’s not actually the cost of gas that is emptying the consumers pockets, but still I get it.

Then I see on the news (FOX31) tonight that that same company just “donated” 2 million dollars for assistance for residents who cannot afford the high bills.
They also donated another million for customer matching funds.
In other words, they’ll match one million dollars for one million in contributions from their customers, for those who cannot afford the high heating costs.

So let me get this straight:

You charge me double to heat my home but I cannot afford it, so you donate to a fund that “assists” me in paying my bill.
You look community minded and nobody seems to realize you were the reason I could not afford my bill in the first place.

Did I get that right?

Now you (the utility) are still making record profits because you’re charging me and the rest of us who somehow afford the high prices, double.
Only 20% of the homes here in Colorado are on “Assistance” to pay the bills.

That’s a snake oil salesman if I ever saw one!

Thank God I live on the second floor.
The further off the ground you are, the warmer it is and I have a fireplace.
The cost of wood to heat this place is 30% of the cost of gas.

Tell what y’all think.
Some said the other was too small.

Don’t worry, the love is unconditional.

There are folks on the radio today, who claim God gives them visions.
They have dreams (bad pizza the night before?) of horrible events and end times.
They “see” the future before it happens.
One I know personally, also claims that God is imperfect; that man can do works to earn and loose his salvation.
That salvation is only temporal and not eternal.

Anywho, what does God say about “foreseeing” the future?

Deuteronomy 18:10, "Let
no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who
practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or
casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone
who does these things is detestable to the LORD"

1 Samuel 15:23, "For
rebellion is like the sin of divination and arrogance like the evil of idolatry"

2 Kings 17:17, "They
sacrificed their sons and daughters in the fire. They practiced divination and
sorcery and sold themselves to do evil in the eyes of the LORD, provoking him
to anger."

Isaiah 2:6, "You
have abandoned your people, the house of Jacob. They are full of superstitions
from the East; they practice divination like the Philistines and clasp hands
with pagans."

Ezekiel 13:20, "Therefore
this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against your magic charms with which
you ensnare people like birds and I will tear them from your arms; I will set
free the people that you ensnare like birds.I will tear off your veils and save
my people from your hands, and they will no longer fall prey to your power.
Then you will know that I am the LORD. Because you disheartened the righteous
with your lies, when I had brought them no grief, and because you encouraged
the wicked not to turn from their evil ways and so save their lives, therefore
you will no longer see false visions or practice divination. I will save my
people from your hands. And then you will know that I am the LORD."

Micah 3:5, This is what the LORD says: "As
for the prophets who lead my people astray, if one feeds them, they proclaim
peace; if he does not, they prepare to wage war against him. Therefore
night will come over you, without visions, and darkness, without divination.
The sun will set for the prophets, and the day will go dark for them."

Divination:
1 : the art or practice that seeks to foresee or foretell future events or discover
hidden knowledge usually by the interpretation of omens or by the aid of supernatural
powers
2 : unusual insight : intuitive perception

Looks like God says it’s sinful, not to be practiced by His people.
At least the Perfect God of the Christian Bible says that.
Perhaps his imperfect god who gives him visions of the future and temporal salvation
is different?

That’s right… I will merely refer to myself as {}.
Labels never solved anything anyway.
So, from now on, I’ll refrain from calling myself a Christian.

What other family resources did Cindy Sheehan squander? Is this part of the reason for the divorce proceedings, including the Patrick Sheehan’s demands that Cindy Sheehan pay for the cost of the divorce, and pay some sort of support back to Patrick. Is Patrick Sheehan trying to recover the lost insurance money?
