*”DUBAI, United Arab Emirates - More than two dozen gay Arab men — arrested at what police called a mass homosexual wedding — could face government-ordered hormone treatments, five years in jail and a lashing, authorities said Saturday.
The Interior Ministry said police raided a hotel chalet earlier this month and arrested 22 men from the Emirates as they celebrated the wedding ceremony, one of a string of recent group arrests of homosexuals here.
The men are likely to be tried under Muslim law on charges related to adultery and prostitution, said Interior Ministry spokesman Issam Azouri.
Outward homosexual behavior is banned in the United Arab Emirates, and the gay group wedding has alarmed leaders of this once-isolated Muslim country as it grapples with a sweeping influx of Western residents and culture.
The Arabian peninsula, nevertheless, has a long tradition of openly homosexual wedding singers and dancers.
“Lately people have been talking about (homosexuality), but it has been here for a long time,” said Nadia Buhannad, a Dubai psychologist. “It becomes shocking only when it is your own son.”
Police acting on a tip raided the hotel in Ghantout, a desert region on the Dubai-Abu Dhabi highway, and found a dozen men dressed as female brides and a dozen others in male Arab dress, apparently preparing for a ceremony that would join them as husbands and wives, Azouri said.
“It was a real party with balloons and champagne,” he said.
The 26 men arrested include those from the Emirates as well as an Indian disc jockey and three men from neighboring Arab states. One of the arrested was to perform the wedding ceremony. Azouri said some of the group told police they worked as prostitutes. Others had been arrested before.
Last year, police made mass arrests at an apparent gay wedding in the conservative emirate of Sharjah and at the Khor Fakkan beach resort in Fujairah emirate, a police official said on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the press.
Two dozen men arrested in Sharjah were given symbolic lashings — meant to humiliate, not inflict pain — and then released from jail, said prominent Emirati lawyer Abdul Hamid al-Kumaiti.
“There are so many others like these guys,” al-Kumaiti said. “The police and rulers need to do more than just lash them and let them go.”
Azouri described the arrests in Ghantout as a “delicate” matter made public for the first time — more than a week after the event — because the country’s tribal leadership wants to demonstrate it will not tolerate open homosexuality.
On Friday, as newspapers reported the arrests, the minister of justice and Islamic affairs, Mohammed bin Nukhaira Al Dhahiri, called on parents to be vigilant for “deviant” behavior in their children.
“There will be no room for homosexual … acts in the UAE,” Al Dhahiri was quoted as saying in the Dubai-based Khaleej Times newspaper.
The arrested men have been questioned by police and were undergoing psychological evaluations Saturday.
Azouri said the Interior Ministry’s department of social support would try to direct the men away from homosexual behavior — using methods including male hormone treatments, if the men are found to be deficient.
“Because they’ve put society at risk they will be given the necessary treatment, from male hormone injections to psychological therapies,” he said. “It wasn’t just a homosexual act. Now we’re dealing with a kind of marriage. There was a ritual involved.”
Foreigners arrested will be deported after serving any sentences imposed in court, he said.
Azouri said government psychologists were grappling to learn the causes behind an apparent increase in homosexual behavior in the Emirates. The booming economy has lured hundreds of thousands of Western residents and millions of tourists. Azouri said authorities want to be seen to be taking action at a time when complaints of gay behavior were emerging from the country’s schools and myriad shopping malls.
Most cases of homosexual behavior are taboo and violate Emirati laws based on Islamic sharia. Azouri suggested that other countries with laws based on religion, including Christianity and Judaism, would also ban gay behavior and marriage.
“It’s not about freedom of opinion, it’s about respecting religion which forbids this type of behavior,” he said.”*
The Godless liberal left always whines about how modern the rest of the world is and claims that if countries like Canada allow homosexual marriages, we should follow their lead and join the 21st century.
Why don’t we ask them if they’d like to apply their preverted logic to other countries and allowances, such as this one?

Most of us love kids and agree that a healthy family is essential to their upbringing, right?
You’d think so but that’s not the case.
Some folks believe that dysfunctional families are good for kids.

If you have a dad who comes home, drinks and beats mommy, that’s not good, right?
If daddy has mistresses all over or if he rapes his kids or if he has a gambling problem or if he is a thief or a murder, you’d say that was not good for the kids; the family, right?
Liberals go so far as to rip that family apart and place the kids in “foster” homes; foster homes which “foster” their world religion of course!
We agree on that much at least, that those families are dysfunctional and need help and maybe the kids DO needs to be taken away but to relatives homes, not “foster homes”.
So why do those same liberals, those same haters of God want to apply the “let’s help the child of a sinning parent” only to a certain segment of the dysfunctional families?
Why not all?
Why take the child away from a family that has a daddy who rapes his daughters (don’t take the daughter away, leave her with mommy and put daddy away for life) yet leave the poor little boy with “two daddies” who ascribe to the theory that “sex by eight or it’s too late”?
Who lives in that village anyway?

Friends who claim to be Christians but pick and choose which sins God was telling the truth about.
I just get frustrated every time I see people claim to be Christian and also claim to be sinners.
The problem is, sometimes I can’t tell if these “Christians” are simply confused, have been lied to or honestly believe that God was wishy washy about sin.
If they do really believe their god loves and creates sin (usually these people are overt) then they are either Christian religionists or simply not Christians at all.
If they have been mislead and are confused it is a simple fix, let’s give them a Bible and show them the Word of God.
Love each other as He loves us means that we need to judge each other righteously and show that sin in our lives so that we may rise up out of it, repent of it and come to Christ to have eternal life with Him.
Anywho, don’t blame God for your short comings.
Don’t blame your perversions on God and please don’t say He created you that way.
I love you and He loves us.
For God so loved the world that He gave….That while we were yet His enemies…
Some of us decided to accept His offer and repent of that enemy status.

Sometimes I wonder is people who claim to be Christians yet espouse liberal, democratic anti-Biblical ideals are simply mislead Christians or if they are the opposition wearing sheeps clothing.

Those who are of the religion of evolution and not Christianity believe that life evolved over millions and billions of years.
There is no proof to support this religion/belief but they have faith.
In fact, most of their followers will readily admit to you that science does not support their beliefs!

Seriously, they honestly believe that they have science on their side.
Even though Darwins faery tales did not pan out.
Even thought they cannot produce one single “transitional fossil”.
Oh, transitional fossils are those which clearly illustrate a species evolving from one form to the next.
Take the 4 toed horse as an example.
Because this horse and the modern day horse are so smiliar, they claimed that four-toed horse, which was barely larger than modern day dogs, evolved into the hoofed horses of today.
Even thought they have no proof of this, and no reason to actually believe it, they need it to complete their faery tales.
So they make up more twists in their stories.
Species no longer need to transition from one form to the next but they can simply show up in the fossil record as an entirely new species.
As in the illustration of the horse or the human.
They have ancient monkeys and apes that they claim are prehuman (hominid) but they have no transitional fossils to prove those faery tales.
They have ancient fish and mamals and a few amphibians which they create stories to link together but not actual dots to connect.
Take the bird.
They claim some ancient animal jumped out of a tree to catch an flying insect and so eventually evolved onto a bird.
Shouldn’t they have that dead animal (and how did they know it jumped fell and died?) and a fossil record of that same animal through the years with slowly budding wings?
Same with the eye and with lungs!
The flying animal (the one attempting to fly) needs to survive in order to pass on the need for flight.
That’s the theory of evolution, passing on that which is selected to advance the species.
How did falling to his death advance his species and cause that falling/flying gene to be passed along?
So those who practice the religion of evolution create dots to be connected where there are none and they also create these wonderful stories of how life was tens of thousands and millions of years ago.
Faery tales of how they see the world through their rose coloured glasses.
Faery tales without a shred of evidence in the face of scientific proof to the contrary.
We’ve all heard this.
Why don’t we let our friends drink and drive?
Well for one, the behaviour has consequences that are detrimental.
If our friends drink then drive, the authorities punish them.
It’s because of this punishment that we are encouraged, by the punisher, to discourage those we love from practicing the behaviour which incurrs the punishment.

Those who love God.
Who loves God?
Those who don’t let their friends live in sin!

The article addresses a college in California (shocked?) that is refusing to accept credits from Christian school for some of the classes taught at these schools.
“In the last year, the board has rejected courses like Christianity’s Influence in American History, Special Provenance: Christianity and the American Republic, Christianity and Morality in American Literature and a biology course using textbooks from the Bob Jones University Press and A Beka Book, conservative Christian publishers.
The officials rejected the science courses because the curriculum differed from “empirical historical knowledge generally accepted in the collegiate community,” the suit said. Calvary was told to submit a secular curriculum instead. Courses in other subjects were rejected because they were called too narrow or biased.
The university has approved courses on Judaism, Islam, Buddhism and gender and counterculture’s effects on literature…”
This poor gal on the internet is berating me for being “so judgemental” when it comes to the world’s religions.
Turns out…
Well, here’s her story:
She *was* a Christian, she says.
She met a great man who is islamic and because she loves him, she is converting to islam.
She moved to Florida to be with him.
They are not yet married but as soon as she makes the final something or other turn to islam, they will be.
She says that islam and Christianity worship the same God so it doesn’t matter to her which “religion” she practices.
She says that my mis(intentional)interpretation of there only being one God and one Way to Heaven is wrong and that I’m narrow minded and a bigot.
I thanked her for her correct asessment of me and I told her that I was going to pray for her that she come To Christ; that she found the truth and that it set her free.
After a few choice words, she was gone forever into the cyber mist of the internet…
People need to understand what they are saying when they say it.

According to Merriam-Webster a bigot is : a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices.
Well, they are not mine per se, but God’s, so YEAH! I am a bigot.
Wait, that means that God is a bigot as well.
We were created in His image, right? (You evolutionary religionists who believe your god is a monkey and you were created in his image are excluded)
As for being narrowminded, well…YES.
I’m narrowly focused on God.
Does that mean my mind is closed to learning, understanding, the truth and new things?
Just the opposite.
The closer and more narrowly I keep focused on God and The Truth, the more I learn, the more I understand and the more new things are discovered.
Unfortunately there are millions and billions of peopls who believe as this lost gal does.
They are lied to, tricked, deceived, call it what you may but they are lost.
Pray that they discover the truth and that they have Eternal Salvation in Christ.
