In Denver, last Sunday, Michael Julius Ford walked into work, a Safeway distribution center, and began shooting his co-workers.
His co-workers, neighbors and family, at first, acted shocked and awed by his behaviour.

” ‘I never would have expected Michael,’ said his uncle, Roy Ford. ‘I’m trying to understand what happened and what went wrong. It’s a puzzle that needs to be put together.’ “

Ford’s father later admitted that when Ford left the house, he said that, “…it was going to happen today.”
Not even a full week after the religious rampage his sister is saying:

” ‘I don’t know what happened to him yesterday. It was like everything changed,’ Khali said. ‘He told me that Allah was going to make a choice and it was going to be good and told me people at his job was making fun of his religion and he didn’t respect that.’ “

Ford not only tried to shot all of his co-workers, he tried to burn the facility to the ground, setting multiple fires.
Oh, and by the way:

“According to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, murder is the fourth-leading cause of fatal work-place injury in the United States. In 2004, there were 551 workplace murders in the U.S., or about 10 percent of the total fatal work injuries.”

That’s comforting!

Everybody was acting surprised that Ford went into a rage but eventually the true story came out that it was his religious desire to kill the infidels at work who made fun of him and his false god!

Why am I not shocked?

EXACTLY!

It’s all for the love of God, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.
I’m getting a few emails from some of you who don’t seem to understand what Christianity really is.
It’s not a religion.
It’s a Faith, a relationship, a love affair with our Creator.
There is no religion in a relationship.

So why do I worry about sinners, politics and other worldly mundane junk?

I used to be a Christian Religionist, before I came to Christ.
I used to believe that Jesus Christ was the same god preached in all of the world’s religions.
That Christianity was a religion.
That Jesus/God was an imperfect God and that His salvation/grace to us was conditional.
I used to believe that God loved sin and that He ….
Blah blah blah.
I was a Christian Religionist who was dead, lost and I was preaching my religion to the world as fact.

Then I found the truth; I found Christ.
I found His love.
I accepted His gift of Life and Grace.

I want others who believe as I once did, to hear the truth, to see the truth in contrast to what is being taught as truth around the world.
To see fact in the face of fiction.

I want everybody to know the Good News, that Jesus Christ is Love and that He wants you to have Eternal Life, through His Resurrection.
I want to make sure that if I have a chance to touch one person; to help one person find God and enjoy Eternal Love/Life with our Creator, that I make every word count.

I would still be lost and ignorantly on my happy little way to hell if it weren’t for the Love of God that contrasted reality against what the world had taught me was real.
I got as far as Matthew 7:21 and said, “Lord, I don’t want to be one of the many who will say to you, ‘Lord Lord, we did great works in your name…’ etc etc.”
I wanted to stop hating God and start loving Him.

So why do I talk about sinners, politics and a whole host of other “wordly” stuff?
I want to be the salt and light.
I want to help others to find the truth.
To find the Love of God.

For the Love of God, I help shed the light of God, the truth and the Good News of Jesus Christ.

I never seem to understand this.
Can you imagine if murders, rapists and thieves flaunted there hate for God by tramping up and down Main Street America?
Normal people from Hawaii to Maine would be up in arms.
So why is it that homosexuals can march up and down our streets and we have huge companies sponsoring their perverse lifestyles?

We had yet another homosexual pride day parade here in Denver.

Yet another “outting” of haters of God, America and mankind.
Marching down our streets, flaunting it in our faces.

I heard something very profound today.
Not something that I’ve not heard or thought of a million times before.
Today it seemed to come alive to the point that I had an “ah-ha” moment.

Unlike what the catholic and Christian religions believe, there are no hauntings and daemons walking the Earth; entertainers like John Edwards don’t talk to the Saved in Heaven and once a man is Saved, he has “Property of The Most Holy” tattooed on his head so evil cannot touch him.

The devil is not going to hide in your closets and scare you to death.
He’s not going to hide under your bed and drag you under and into hell.

The devil is going to be beautiful, seductive, inviting, loving, peaceful and alluring.
The Bible tells us that in the end, the agent of satan will fool some of the elect.
That’s how “good” the devil will appear.
His message will so shadow God’s Word that you’ll think it just has to be the truth because it appeals to your humanity.
Take liberals and religionists:
Their gods are not judgemental, decisive or polarized.
Their gods love sin and hate.
Their gods embrace whatever it is these people want their gods to embrace.
That appeals to liberals and religionists: a god of their creation and not them being the creation of God.

So the devil will wear a big hat, sit in a far away city and tell you that he is the mouthpiece of God.
He will whisper in your ear and tell you that you should not be so judgemental and intolerant.
He will tell you that God loves your sinful lifestyles and acts.
He will tell you that God wants you to do good works and earn your way into Heaven.
That God is not perfect and requires your efforts to earn and retain your salvation.

See, in Eden, Eve was not afraid of the devil.
She conversed with him.
She talked to the serpent and what he told her appealled to her humanity and logic.
He talked her into betraying God.
Her betrayal caused God to toss her out of The Garden.

There is only one sin left to man and that is the sin of denial of the Son.
The devil will not scare you to God, he will lure you into denying Christ and accepting some false god, be it the pope, allah, joey smith or some other figment of the imagination.

Unless you know the Word of God, unless you know the truth, the devil will fool you with stories that are a shadow of the Word but just different enough to draw you away from God.

The devil is in the details not in some vulgar and evil suit waiting to scare lunch outta you!

I’ve mentioned that I love the Discovery Channel.
Of course while watching, I need to translate their religious beliefs into reality when they talk about their religion of evolution and its billions of years.
The last month with schools letting out, the Channel has been on a huge push to get the final word into kids heads before they head out into the sun and shake the cob webs of the public indoctrination system out of their little nogens.
So there have been a ton of caveman and dinosaur series on and I love watching them.
I’ve touched this topic before, about how coals and fossil fuels are created.
The evolutionists would have us believe that the dinos and trees and swampy things just laid down and waited the millions of years it took to be covered by sediments.
All the other animals, bugs, worms, etc just KNEW ahead of time that we’d need oil and coals so these creatures did not eat the dead things.
Instead, they left them all there for us, waiting to be covered.
The bacteria and elements removed their effects and allowed the carcasses and plants to simply remain in place until they could be covered and converted by time.
The show I’m currently watching quickly noted that these prehistoric animals devoured nearly 90% of their prey/kills.
The show even mentioned that part of the 10% that these creatures could not eat, was the waste in the intestines.
I can see how these religionists can extrapolate some of these ideas from the left over petrified bones but how do they claim this last as fact?
Is there some waste, slung from the intestines, that has eluded decay and perhaps some of the nearby trees and rocks with waste splatter marks that shows an ancient beast flinging the stuff from its kill?
This is the type of imagination, while colourful and fun, is used to create this religion, this faery tale of evolution, which taints our kids minds with fantasy and awe and draws them away from God and the truth.

Praise God for the truth; for His Creation and reality.
For the science and fact which prove His Creation and for the intelligence to discern reality from fantasty; fact from fiction, truth from religion.

I got an email from somebody on the highway last week.

Let me rewind.
On the back of my truck, I have my URL on the rear window.
I drive 25 miles each way to and from work.
It usually takes me around 90 minutes to two hours to make the drive, with traffic and what not.
It’s always bumper to bumper and lately, being summer, the windows are down and cars all around me can hear me screaming along with the music.
I’ve gotten emails from folks on the road, ranging from the “AMEN!” to the swear fest for the way I drive.
I’ve even been offered dates and one marriage proposal.
Anywho, this last email was uplifting.
She said that she got on the road from work.
She had a very bad day and was grumpy and as she was leaving work, she darted out into traffic without looking.
Until she told me this next part, I did not remember who she was.
I was plugging in my CD and chosing a song when this car darted out in front of me at the last second.
I slammed on the brakes and swerved into the next lane.
Fortunately, there was nobody there at the moment and the girl behind the wheel of the offending car laid on her horn and blew me a kiss.
Nothing friendly about it, although she was stunning and I felt bad that I ticked her off even though I could see on her face that she knew it was her fault.

I’ve got a short attention span so when a good set of songs started playing and within a few minutes I was blissfully singing and screaming and forgetting all about the mental driver behind me and the traffic jam for the next two hours.
That mental driver sat on my tail the whole way, from south denver all the way to the Boulder turnpike (North Denver).
In the Email, she went on to tell me that first she was ticked off, ready to vent on me, then got even more upset when I seemed to blow her off and started signing like some idiot.
As we hit the highway, the concrete center wall was reflecting both the music and my wailings.
Eventually she said that she was singing along and by the time she got home, she was in one of the best moods ever.
She said that now she does the same thing:
She makes CDs before she leaves for work and she plays them going to and coming home from work.
She went to wanting to knock my block off to thanking me for getting her outta her funk.

SO if you are stuck behind me in traffic and you see (or hear) me screaming like a banshee, join in or roll up your windows cuz I have no plans on slowing down or shutting up!

Last month I got to questioning the motives and role of the police.
Recently, here in Denver, we opened our HOV (high occupancy vehicles) lanes to solitary drivers who are willing to pay a steep fee to use the lanes as well.
You’ll remember that in my previous post, I questioned why the police hide and wait for criminals to commit the crime rather than patrol in marked cars, very obviously, in order to deter crimes from even happening.
Well, when these new lanes opened, the State Patrol was out in force, to enforce the new lanes laws.
There are huge fines for violating the lane laws.
The State Patrol parked their very flagrantly marked cars in the shoulders and stood outside of their cars, with their huge campaign hats on, as obvious as they could be.
The first week, they were not there to write tickets but rather to be a show of force and to show would be violators that they were watching.
Folks saw the cops hanging out and knew they’d not get away with anything.
Honest drivers remained honest and less than honest folks were honest for at least the first week or so.
So I ask you:
Why can’t they do this every day?
They obviously get the fact that by simply hanging out and being visible, they can reduce and even prevent crime.
So why do they hide in their unmarked patrol cars, waiting for crimes to be commited then take the chance that these criminals will not be convicted?

Perhaps it is what I guessed last time:
They are simply justifying their lazy jobs until retirement.
They don’t really want to work.

For those of you who only read my posts but don’t email, reply or whine and moan…
Ya don’t know what you’re missing.
I probably only get a few hundred emails a week and I’d say that those who hate Christ only make up half that.

Now see what I did there?
I just made sure I am going to get another few hundred emails.
Keep em coming, y’all, I really love it regardless which side of salvation you’re on.

While we’re on that point, let me remind y’all…
If you don’t agree with God, then you disagree and if you disagree with God, you are denying Him and if you’re denying Him, you hate Him and if you hate God, you are not yet saved.

Phew, that was a mouthful.
But seriously…
If you don’t love Christ/God, you hate Him.
How do you know you don’t really love Him?

These religions deny that Christ is God and therefore hate Him:

Catholicism (Mary is also a god and Christ/God is not perfect).
Mormonism (Christ is one of many gods, equal to man and satan).
Humanism (Man is god and Christ was just a good guy).
Homsexuality (Their gods love sin).
Islam (They have 365 gods and Christ was just a prophet).
Christian Religionists (Their gods love sin and are imperfect).

Let’s just stop right there.
All religions hate God and deny Christ.
If it’s not the Christian Faith, it’s sin and hate.

Remember, even God said it Himself, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” John 16:6.

So if Jesus is not the Lord, the one and only true God, if He is not a perfect, holy and righteous God who sent His one and only Son to die and be resurrected to offer you eternal life…
If your god is not the God of the Bible, the Word of God, Jesus Christ…

I pray that you discover the truth, that you hear the Good News of Jesus Christ, that you come to Him and accept His offer of eternal life, of perfect love and rest in Him.
I pray that you accept Jesus Christ as your true Lord God and Saviour.

Praise Jesus and AMEN!
