I’ve got a long time friend and two co-workers.
All three females and all three tell me they are Christians.
All three were both public school and sought advanced education in the public system.
They are also all three “teachers” of some sort.
One is a youth pastor and a teacher in the government indictrination facilities (aka - public schools).
Another is an early childhood teacher and the third is into anything having to do with sex, feminism and liberal humanism.
All of them have complete faith in “public schools”.
They all prefer public education over private or “Christian” education.
One told me that children need the social skills that public schools can teach them.
That children cannot be sheltered from the world.
The sex teacher told me that one’s sexuality needs to be explored and celebrated and that to supress that would be unheathly.
The last doesn’t talk much and when she does, she throws curve balls that knock my socks off.
Not one of them has shown the educational benefits of the liberal religions taught in the government facilities over the Christian education of private, Christian and home schools.
I believe that one tried to convince me that God wanted us to be wise to the ways of the world, to be knowledgable of the opposition so that we can be more well rounded and ready for challenges in life.
That by exposing them to the “real world” found in public schools, they will be better Christains when they grow up.
My answer is:
Does that mean we should take our young boys to prostitutes so that they can have that experience under their belts to be better suited to handle pornography and adultery?
Better yet, should we drop our daughters off at biker bars, wearing little pink slip dresses, so that they are able to handle rape, sexual and emotional abuse and physical beatings when they grow up?
We can just drop our kids off at islamic mosques for 8 hours a day to allow them to be taught about false gods then pick them up and spend two hours a night, attempting to unteach all the lies and religious crap in just two hours.
Two hours in which they’re tired, cranky and loaded down with homework that is unteaching them all the truth we’ve tried to teach them before breakfast.
In essence, we are doing all of this when we allow them to go to the government indoctrination facilities.
God never taught us to do that.
The Bible tells us to bring up our children in the ways of the Lord.
The ways of the Lord can only be found in the Bible and not a speck of which can be found in these so called public schools.
Oddly enough, these three girls, both outspoken and brash, soft and quiet, have at least the one thing in common.
They were all brought up in the liberal public schools to support the liberal view and they all consider the liberal social skill more valuable than the Christian world view.
Why am I friends with three liberal socialists? Besides that fact that all three are stunningly beautiful, there is still hope for them.
Until their deaths, they have a chance to repent and support Christ and present Him to the world.
Just a small representation of how Christians can be lied to, misled and caused to teach and preach a false word, of a false god; a false christ.
Pray, folks.
Pray that these teachers and all other Christians learn the Word of God.
Learn to tell the truth from the lies.
Learn to teach the truth, opposed to the lies and to spread the Good News.
Our children need to be raised up in the Ways of the Lord and not the ways of religion and hate.
The time will soon come when having that knowledge of the Word, knowing truth from lies, of having an intimate relationship with the Lord and recognizing His voice when called will be put to the test.
Please don’t be caught by the “Thief in the Night”.
You may be surprised to hear that you’re not very open minded… and a little judgmental.
You tend to dislike others (liberal lifestyles) that are different from you (Christianity).
While you may be open to a few new things, you don’t reach far beyond what you believe.
And it’s likely that you don’t even want to discuss different points of view! (I’l discuss it till I turn blue in the face - try me!)
Woohoo! - Praise Jesus!
I’m narrowminded, narrowly focused on Jesus.
Not open to the world views and ideas.
Not open to the liberal religions and schools.
I’d say this quiz is nearly spot on!
Preoccupation with details, rules, lists, order, organization, bodily functions, or schedules.
Showing perfectionism that interferes with task completion.
Excessive devotion to work and productivity to the exclusion of leisure activities and friendships.
Being overconscientious, scrupulous, and inflexible about matters of morality, ethics, or values.
Inability to discard worn-out or worthless objects even when they have no sentimental value.
Reluctance to delegate tasks or to work with others unless they submit to exactly his or her way of doing things.
Adopting a miserly spending style toward both self and others; money is viewed as something to be hoarded for future catastrophes.
Showing rigidity and stubbornness.
God makes us perfect creatures.
We want to do something perfectly.
We are perfectly organized, have lists and we are perfectly devoted to working in His Ministry.
We don’t want to allow folks without the same morals or love of God to do our jobs less than perfectly and we’re good stewards with the finances that the Lord provides.
We are rigid, firm and inflexible in our Faith, our morality, ethics and values; our relationship with the Lord.
Wikipedia also defines OCPD as:
“…a mental and personality disorder…”
Being a Christian is defined by the world as a mental and personality disorder.
Ok, so I do things that the average Joe does, just with a million times more focus, dedication and thoroughness.
Ok, I’m also a bit more obsessed with things than that same average Joe.
Yeah, I have to see the pattern when I daily vacuum the floors and my house is spotless.
I also have all 1000 of my DVDs in alphabetical order and I’ve printed a list that I keep updated.
And so what if all, and I mean ALL - even teeshirts and pants, of my clothes are ironed and hung up, by style, type and colours.
ha ha ha, ok-ok, I’m a bit OCPD - Obsessive Compulsive Porter Disorder.
But that’s the way God made me.
It ain’t no danged disorder!
I know that the title of this post made the majority of you laugh, some of you groan and the rest of you (that tiny percentage who are idiots) nod in agreement.
I’ve not been posting much lately about Israel and her troubles of late.
While the rest of the world watches islam attack Israel, they seem to forget what they saw two seconds ago and blame Israel for attacking her attackers!
They see her defending herself yet they say she’s the attacker.
They see the leeches sucking away at her limbs, chewing off chunks of her land, time after time yet they claim Israel is the occupier and that she’s responsible for getting fed up with the leeches and burning them off.
It’s not the leeches’ fault, it’s Israels for being there!
islamic logic (the same logic all liberals use) is Bass Ackwards and anti-reality but that’s the world in which they choose to live.
So anywho, I’ve not been posting because as a Christian who lives in reality and God’s truth, you all know how I see the world and what I think of these islamic barbarians.
And of the God hating liberal whack jobs who support them and their worlds view.
So I’ve been letting RFBurnHertz do all the posting lately.
He’s been doing a great job and he even has his fair share of Godless liberals strutting their stuff on his site.
Check out his latest post; shows the “real” sentiments of the islamic world towards Israel.
In fact, he’s had a pretty great string lately of islam at its finest.
A store that sells new husbands just opened in Atlanta where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates. You may visit the Husband Store Only Once!
There are 6 floors and the attributes of the men increase as the shopper ascends the flights.
There is a catch: You may choose any man from a particular floor or you may choose to go up a floor, but you cannot go back down.
So a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband.
On the first floor the sign reads:
Floor 1: These men have jobs.
The second floor sign reads:
Floor 2: These men have jobs and love kids.
The third floor sign reads:
Floor 3: These men have jobs, love kids and are extremely good looking.
“WOW” she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going.
She goes to the fourth 4 and the sign reads:
Floor 4: These men have jobs, love kids, are drop dead good looking and help with housework.
“Oh Mercy” she exclaims, “I can’t hardly stand it.”
Still she goes to the 5th floor and the sign reads:
Floor 5: These men have jobs, love kids, are drop dead good looking, help with housework and have a romantic streak.
She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor and the sign reads:
Floor 6: You are the 31,556,127th visitor to this floor. There are no men on this floor.
This floor exist solely as proof that women are impossible to please.
No way!
Who needs anti-American, no talent trash talkers like the Dixie Tricks when we’ve got real talent and the great music of The Corrs and The Wreakers!
Just thought I’d get my two cents in while the Dixie Tricks are down and out.
They thought that enough time had passed since they expressed their hatred of America so they decided to try another tour.
They’ve had to cancel a ton of their dates for lack of ticket sales!
I don’t know what they were thinking.
Their fan base are conservative, republican, Christian, Americans.
Out with the old (has beens) and in with the new.
Like Michael Jackson, I still like a couple of the Dixie Tricks older songs.
Maybe we can get them to move to some odd little islamic country as well?
Just a thought/suggestion.
This morning I’m stuck in traffic, as usual, on my way to work.
Passing the time away, I’m screaming to my MP3 CD, as usual.
It’s cool and I’ve got the windows down. Spirit in the Sky (Norman Greenbaum) starts as I crank the volume!
As the artist starts singing, I start howling along with him when suddenly, something is off.
I fiddle with the bass and treble while I’m singing when I realize that there is somebody in the car on my passenger side, singing along with me.
Huh?
I look at the driver and she gives me the thumbs up with a big grin on her face, all the while, singing with me and not missing a word.
Spirit in the Sky is a pop classic but this is a seventies song that requires both a few years under your belt and an abstract knowledge of music.
This “kid” could not have been more than 27 but she was cute as a button.
Tan, skinny woman with a little jean skirt and peasant shirt.
The most beautiful red wild hair and while I couldn’t see your eyes through those cool glasses, your smile shined through.
Whoops, sorry, y’all, I started talking to her instead of YOU!
Anywho, she belted out the song as loud as she could while we sat in traffic and I cranked it up just a bit louder.
Just as that song ended and I thought I was going to wake up from this little dream, the next song (MP3) began. Sweet Caroline (Neil Diamond).
She didn’t miss a beat or drive away.
As the singing started, she sang right along, clear as a bell.
I gotta say, Spirit in the Sky is a stretch and Sweet Caroline is a reach but knowing all the words and singing with a howling stranger in traffic….
If I meet you again, I’ll propose!
After the song ended, the traffic opened up as if on cue from a movie director and she drove away, hand out the window, waving as she left.
I’ve been in the Marines, I’ve experienced a few thrills.
I’ve never been as thrilled and wired after anything as I was this morning.
I couldn’t sit still all day at work and now I have two favourite songs that will never be the same.
The gift God gave me is music.
I can mend your heart, romance your soul and lift your Spirit.
To have a beautiful woman sing with me, to smile and have fun doing what I love most (next to the Lord - obviously) thrilled me to no end.
Needless to say, I’ll be driving to work, with the wondows down, at the exact same time, every morning for a long while.
Whoever you are, thank you for the thrill and for slowing down long enough to make an old man’s day!
God said this for a good reason, well He said it through Paul in second Corinthians 6:16, “Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”
“Therefore come out from them
and be separate,
says the Lord.
Touch no unclean thing,
and I will receive you.”
Now I know that a few versus back, in first Corinthians 6:12, Paul also said, “Everything is permissible for me”–but not everything is beneficial.”
So yes, date that nonbeliever.
Enjoy your youth.
You’re allowed but there is no profit in it.
Unless you count appreciating Christian men once you stop dating the losers and start dating the real men.
I had a very gentle-hearted Christian sister at work recently reveal that she had to end a relationship because she was dating an unbeliever.
She’s intelligent, stunningly beautiful, very feminine and nearly everything about her screams Christ and the Spirit.
So I was actually shocked to hear that she’d even considered let alone had actually dated somebody who did not share her Faith.
But she’s very young and still exploring her world and her choices.
Give her another few years before she settles down I suppose.
I guess I’m an old man who just sees the world through Christ Coloured glasses.
If God says dating unbelievers won’t do us any good, then we shouldn’t do it, I just trust His wisdom.
I didn’t always and I guess like I once did, my little Brothers and Sisters have to learn the hard way.
Keep the Faith, Sister.
Don’t let the bad apples ruin it for the rest of God’s real men.
Trust me, they’re out there and you deserve one of them.
Real men who share your love of God.
