It may not last long but the Raiders are finally back on top of our division.
We’re 25 points and 7 touchdowns ahead of the nearest team in the standings.
Of course we’re only a quarter of the way into a sixteen game, seventeen week season.
So we’ll have to see how it pans out.
There is debate over whether the current Immigration & Naturalization test is too challenging or simply designed to ensure new Citizens have the knowledge to be truly American.
How would you score?
It took me an hour and I only scored 90 of 100.
I got a B+.

If you haven’t heard about Yangon, Myanmar, you’ve been living under a rock.
It’s gotten so bad out there that the government has cut off the internet so that all the videos of their human rights violations and other crimes can no longer be released to the world as they had been.
They’re even hunting down journalists and going room to room through hotels looking for every camera in the city.
A journalist from Al-Jazeerah (THE moslum/islamic news agency) called in a report that he feared for his life and was hiding from the hunters; reporting that journalists were being beaten and some even shot on sight!
Wait a second.
They’re striking?
At 11am Eastern time, the United Auto Workers Union, 73000 workers, set out a Strike against 82 General Motors plants in the U.S.
Why?
GM, trying to make itself viable and increase its longevity, is proposing that all new employees sign up for a 401K plan rather than the traditional pension plans.
They also want to change the health care benefits plans for new hires and retired workers to allow for managed healthcare plans with preset account balances and limited co-pay and out of pocket expenses.
Of course the workers want everything they can get and rather than give a little to keep their jobs, they’d rather squeeze all they can out today and take the chance that they’ll be let go, retired early or have the company go bankrupt tomorrow.
These folks are asking too much.
Where else can a man with a high school education make $60 an hour?
I’m glad to be making a fraction of that, with my college education and to have a steady job.
There’s an obvious reason that American Employers are out-sourcing to foreign nations.
Americans are demanding too much for too little and eventually we’ll have no jobs left for Americans to do without having to go South across the border to Mexico to work every day!
We need to remember what the Word of God tells us about this:
Matthew 20:1
For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire men to work in his vineyard. He agreed to pay them a denarius for the day and sent them into his vineyard.
About the third hour he went out and saw others standing in the marketplace doing nothing. He told them, `You also go and work in my vineyard, and I will pay you whatever is right.’ So they went.
He went out again about the sixth hour and the ninth hour and did the same thing. About the eleventh hour he went out and found still others standing around. He asked them, `Why have you been standing here all day long doing nothing?’
`Because no one has hired us,’ they answered.
He said to them, `You also go and work in my vineyard.’
When evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, `Call the workers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last ones hired and going on to the first.’
The workers who were hired about the eleventh hour came and each received a denarius. So when those came who were hired first, they expected to receive more. But each one of them also received a denarius. When they received it, they began to grumble against the landowner. `These men who were hired last worked only one hour,’ they said, `and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the work and the heat of the day.’
But he answered one of them, `Friend, I am not being unfair to you. Didn’t you agree to work for a denarius? Take your pay and go. I want to give the man who was hired last the same as I gave you. Don’t I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am generous?’
“So the last will be first, and the first will be last.”
FINALLY!!!
I actually endured a half hour long interview with Presidential candidate Senator Hilary Clinton on Meet the Depressed this weekend.
The host, Tim Russertt, is a huge liberal and Hilary supporter but during the interview, Hilary would not answer many of his questions directly.
BUT…
When asked about Universal Health Care, Hilary admitted she was wrong!
If you’ll recall back during her husband ’s term as President, he allowed his wife to run the Nation’s Healthcare programs.
During those eight years, Hilary did everything she could to turn our programs into Universal Healthcare and in the process, screwed our systems all to hell.
Tim Russertt quoted one of her Democratic brethren, Chris Dodd, calling her out for her mismanagement of the Health Care program.
I’m please to say that she admitted she tried and made a lot of mistakes.
Unfortunately she plans to try again if she’s elected which means that she’s only going to further screw up the programs that she didn’t finish screwing up during the first eight years of trying!
Jeesh.
And liberals blame Republicans and our current President for the state of health care yet seem to have forgotten that it was Hilary and their own President who screwed the system in the first place!
Hilary even had the brass tacks to tell Tim after he asked her about her past record that we can continue to focus on the past or we can look to the future but then she tried to say that we need to hold the President accountable and he needs to take responsiblity.
But she couldn’t even do it herself when asked point blank!
She was so greasey and evasive during the interview, continually saying, “…The real question is..” rather than answer the question asked by a fellow liberal and supporter.
She’s going to be just like her husband and she’s going to tear this Country apart should her evil hide actually make it into the White House.
I pray that the political analysts are correct when they say that while the liberals love Hilary, nobody’s ready to vote her into the White House just yet.
Not that I’d rather Osama (Obama) make it in but he is the lesser of two very great evils.
Check out Hilary’s interview on Meet The Press from Sunday, 23, 2007.
Listen very closely and you can hear Tim muffling laughter in the background during her responses.
In the last few years, so many people have been pushing murdering our loved ones in old age homes, hospitals and clinics.
It’s not enough for them to go around killing the unborn babies in this Nation, they’ve got to kill the rest who are unable to speak for themselves.
Terry Shaivo is the first name who comes to my mind.
So because of all of this motivation to kill Americans who believe in God, I’ve come up with a tattoo to place on my chest.
It’s “instructions” if you will.
This way, whether I’m a veggitable, unconscious or simpky unable to express my opinion, everybody will know what it is I want before somebody else makes the attempt to speak for me and misrepresent me.
I AM A CHRISTIAN
I LOVE JESUS CHRIST
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE
ARE YOU TO BY ACTION
OR INACTION, CAUSE OR
ALLOW ME TO DIE UNLESS
YOU ARE ATTEMPTING TO
SAVE MY LIFE.
Nobody can assume I want the plug pulled, to be allowed to die, or to be left “declared dead” and not recussitated.
But when all is said and done, I still believe in God so I’m sure they’ll find an excuse to kill me.
But its source may not be what you’d have expected.
We all know that there are plenty of white racists carrying around their KKK bedsheets and cone heads.
We all know of Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and Louis Farrakhan.
Those are all the obvious examples when Americans think of racism.
Over on YouTube the discussion roils over the Jena 6 issue in Jena, Louisianna.
The average Joe and Jane have made some very disturubingly racist comments.
Normally you expect to hear some inbred fidiot spouting his drivil but in a few statements, you get the sense that these people truly believe what they are saying and that they are serious in their racist hate.
Let me give you some examples:
I made the comment that people of all ages were drawn to the same race, from kids on the playground to criminals in prison.
That it wasn’t always about race but familiarity and comfort.
“…yeh, in prison, but out here, all feel as though whites are the enemies and minority…”
Was a poster’s response.
She believes that whites are the enemy and that they are the minority.
Then…
When talking about Louisianna two years ago, these comments were made:
“…the president saw a predominant percentage of black people in new orleans and still thought iraq was a top priority…when the highest held person in the country doesn’t care, what can you do?”
And…
“…If you want evidence of his indifference to black people look at New Orleans…”
Another in a line of movies that span generations.
“Across the Universe” staring Evan Rachel Wood, Jim Sturgess and Joe Anderson, by Revolution Studios was released this weekend.
It’s nearly as good as going to a Beatles Laser Show.
For those of us who loved “The Commitments” back in 1991, “Across the Universe” is a treat.
Here’s a clip from “The Commitments - Mustang Sally” and below that I’ve tossed in the “Across the Universe” trailer.
MTV.
Always the leader in morally depraved television, they’ve nearly out done themselves this year.
“A Shot At Love with Tila Tequila” is a new reality television show styled after “the Bachelor”.
Tila, a MySpace soft porn star, is stuck in a house with 16 single men and 16 single women.
All 32 will vie for her attention and affection.
Tila announces that she’s not sure whether she loves men or women.
The trailers show Tila making out with the guys and with the gals.
MTV has plenty of homosexual and homosexual friendly shows but this one is going to be their crown jewel as Tila will bring in her millions of horny juvenile worshippers.
One more way MTV can rip another stitch out of the Moral Fabric of the good ol US of A.
I’m not even sure why I’m giving this the time of day but I’m sure that I’m sick of this channel.
Perhaps that’s why MTV’s target audience is 13 through 34?
Once you grown up and mature, you tend to realize what crap that station is!
That and the fact that when I was a kid, MTV made its debute and I’m used to being fed music videos 24/7.
If y’all saw the awards show recently, you heard Justin Timberlake make the comment a couple of times during his acceptance speeches about MTV no longer playing music videos.
They’ve taken away the music video and replaced it with crap such as the new show with Tila Tequila.
MTV is all about the sex and drugs but no more rock and roll.
Not that I’m sure I’d watch anymore even if they did bring back the videos since they’re all about how much oral, booty and homosexual sex one can get.
Raping, sodomizing, prostituting and fornicating is all I’ve seen in the current videos.
Dire Straits would be sad to hear that I’m no longer singing their song because now I no longer want my MTV.
I know that is going to shock many of you to read but it’s true:
God loves homosexuals.
He also loves murderes, pedophiles, rapists, thiefs, adulters, fornicators and every other sinner on this planet; past, present and future.
That’s why the Father gave His only begotten Son to die for us so that we may have eternal life with Him.
Seriously.
God loves all of us and He hates our sins.
Our sinful lifestyles are so detestable that He sent His Son to die, the perfect sacrifice, the spotless Lamb, in order to remove sin from us.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.”
