Two self-proclaimed former terrorists spoke to a sold-out crowd at the University of Colorado on Tuesday night in a speech called “Why We Want to Kill You.”
CU’s College Republicans group made the request to bring in the two former Islamic terrorists, Walid Shoebat and Kamal Saleem, at a price tag of $10,000. The university footed the bill for the lecture out of the mandatory $670 per student activity fee, of which they say about $20 is used to bring in speakers annually.
Shoebat and Saleem say they hope they brought a thought-provoking message to the 1,100 people who packed the room to hear them speak.
They say they simply wanted to offer others a look into a world they no longer like.
“I saw myself fighting the infidels. Who were the infidels? The Jews and the Christians,” Saleem told the crowd.
Many were not happy the two came to visit CU on Tuesday.
The spokesman for CU, Bronson Hilliard, told Boulder’s Daily Camera the university does not micromanage the list of guest speakers.
“I don’t think these events are beneficiary [sic] for the students we have here,” said Sadra Azimi of the Muslim Students Association.
CU student-diversity groups and the Muslim Student Association called the event entirely anti-Muslim and encouraged people to research the speakers.
“It’s very similar to what guys like Osama bin Laden do. I think they are doing the same thing,” said Azimi. “They’re spreading the message of hatred to almost one-fifth of the world’s population and I think it’s dangerous.”
The speakers, who say they are frequently met with heckles and demonstrations, wanted to give students a different view on the war on terror and the conflicts in the Middle East.
“Patriotism is now an anathema at the university campuses and schools,” said Shoebat on Tuesday afternoon. “My kids went to school here in America. They’re taught anti-America all the time; anti-Americanism all the time; the hatred of this country all the time. And I ask the question, if America is so bad, then why would 150 Muslim student associations establish organizations here?”
Shoebat says he became a part of the Muslim brotherhood in the early 80s and says the Jihad movement is very real.
Officials at CU say many of the posters advertising the event were torn down.
Saleem, who joined Shoebat for the lecture at the Glen Miller Auditorium on Tuesday, says terrorism is not just the act of blowing up a bomb.
“Terrorism starts politically, financially, then it goes to blowing up themselves,” said Saleem on Tuesday afternoon. “Terrorism is like a drug addiction.”
Azimi says he thinks Shoebat and Saleem are still terrorists.
“I think they’re terrorists right now,” said Azimi. “A terrorist is someone who spreads terror and fear, and I think they’re doing exactly the same thing right now.”
The Muslim Students Association says it doesn’t plan protests, but its members were on hand to ask questions.
A Muslim advocacy group says three speakers invited to the U.S. Air Force Academy are former “terrorists” who slam the religion with “hate-filled” rhetoric.
And the Washington, DC-based Council on American-Islamic Relations alleges that one of the speakers, Walid Shoebat, has said that “Islam is the devil.”
Shoebat, Kamal Saleem and Zachariah Anani are scheduled to speak today at the 50th Annual Academy Assembly in Colorado Springs.
The topic of the four-day event is “Dismantling Terrorism.”
Air Force Academy spokesman Major Brett Ashworth says the purpose of the event is to educate future officers on the ideology and methodology of terrorists.
The council says it offered to connect the Air Force with Muslims to balance the discussion, but was told no.
Born in Bethlehem of Judea, Walid’s grandfather was the Muslim Mukhtar (chieftain) of Beit Sahour-Bethlehem (The Shepherd’s Fields) and a friend of Haj-Ameen Al-Husseni, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and notorious friend of Adolf Hitler.
Walid’s great grandfather, Abdullah Ali Awad-Allah, was also a fighter and close associate of both Abdul Qader and Haj Amin Al-Husseini, who led the Palestinians against Israel. Walid lived through and witnessed Israel’s Six Day War while living in Jericho.
As a young man, he became a member of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, and participated in acts of terror and violence against Israel, and was later imprisoned in the Russian Compound, Jerusalem’s central prison for incitement and violence against Israel.
After his release, he continued his life of violence and rioting in Bethlehem and the Temple Mount. After entering the U.S, he worked as a counselor for the Arab Student Organization at Loop College in Chicago and continued his anti-Israel activities.
In 1993, Walid studied the Tanach (Jewish Bible) in a challenge to convert his wife to Islam. Six months later, after intense study, Walid realized that everything he had been taught about Jews was a lie. Convinced he was on the side of evil, he became an advocate for his former enemy.
Driven by a deep passion to heal his own soul, and to bring the truth about the Jews and Israel to the world, Walid shed his former life and his work as a software engineer and set out to tirelessly bring the cause of Israel to tens of thousands of people throughout the world: churches and synagogues, civic groups, government leaders and media.

Weighing in at more than $18 billion ($18,000,000,000), it’s the largest budget with which the State has ever been burdened.
The budget includes:
$100,000,000 - Wildlife Cash Fund
$014,000,000 - Worker’s Compensation Cash Fund
$114,500,000 - “As Designated” by the Governor
$500,000,000 - Additional money into Child Welfare programs
$500,000,000 - Additional money for education
$200,000,000 - Additional money into transportation
And on and on…
He’s spending MORE money on programs that used to have enough until he came along and redirected all our money into his pet projects like supporting liberal education and indoctrination facilities, murdering unborn Americans and giving illegal immigrant/foreign invaders and felons a free ride here in the State with an education, healthcare and benefits!

Down in Texas on the Yearn For Zion Ranch (YZF) which is owned by the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons!), 463 kiddos were taken into State custody.
250 girls and 213 boys.
Of the 250 girls, 53 of them are between 14 and 17 and 31 of those 53 either already have children of their own or are currently pregnant.
The girls were being “groomed” to accept sex with their middle aged spiritual husbands as soon as they hit puberty.
Ok, I’m thoroughly disgusted now.

Her father is Billy Ray Cyrus is the infamous artist who sang that annoying song.
Miley claimed she’s embarrassed by the photo shoot and said she was manipulated.
Both Miley and Shoot Photog Annie Leibovitz have issued appologies.
The shoot included a photo of the 15 year old naked (but covered) and another of her lying inappropriately across her father’s lap.

Colorado House Bill 1325, otherwise known as the Seasonal Agricultural Worker Pilot Program passed a Colorado House committee today by a vote of 7-4.
From there it moves to the House Appropriations Committee for consideration.
Ok, boring crap over.
“Why should I care?” you ask.
Let me explain the Bill:
HB 1325 creates a seasonal agricultural worker pilot program in the CO Department of Labor for the approval of workers through the federal H-2A certification process. The program aims to fix the problems farmers are having finding workers and using the broken H2A program by allowing up to 5000 additional immigrants to enter and work in Colorado for up to 10 months at a time.
Again, why should you care, right?
Well, Colorado already has more than 500,000 illegal immigrants here in this State.
They cost the State more than $1,100,000,000 ($1.1 Billion) each year.
More than 12,000 of whom are gang members.
We spend more than $38,000,000 ($38 Million) annually on babies born to these illegal immigrants who cannot afford health insurance because of their criminal tresspass and invasion into our State/Country.
500,000 - five hundred thousand illegal immigrants already in this State and farmers are still unable to find workers willing to fill in?
What in this Bill makes anybody think another 5,000 will fix this?
That’s not the half of it!
LEGAL IMMIGRANTS - those who love, respect and honour this Country and her laws and have legally entered this Country are outraged by this Bill.
Their sites are urging our Representatives to vote “NO on HB 1325!”
And with good reason: it undermines legal immigrant’s time and efforts.
To make matters worse (or better depending on the view) one Representative Douglas Bruce has been mistreated for speaking his mind to the House.
Liberal whack job Kathleen Curry from Eagle ordered him to vacate the podium after his comment about this Bill and his frustration with the liberal’s hate for this State.
Curry obviously has no respect for the Constitution which gives Rep. Bruce the right to free speech and has since received a FLOOD of emails, letters and threats from Americans both in and out of State.
Curry is finally realizing the fluke that elected her to office as Coloradoans express their frustration with her unpatriotic actions, votes and comments.
Somebody commenting for Curry said that she “has felt very threatened by this situation. She has small children, she has a family, and this is indeed unnerving for anyone in this situation.”
Small wonder when you act against the will of the State.
I don’t condone the death threats heaped at these liberal enemies of the State but neither am I suprised and Curry and her ilk shouldn’t be either.
After all, take a job and act against the will of the people and you’re bound to the consequences of your hate and denial.
Contact your Representatives, fellow Coloradoans.
Add your voice to the growing number of those frustrated with this year’s lack of fiscal responsibility, lack of morals and lack of care for the will of the Coloradoan.
Let them know we don’t need 5000 more “migrant workers” added to the long line of more than 500,000 illegal immigrants already here sucking down our tax dollars by the BILLIONS each year.
So we are constantly hearing the debate between MAC and PC users.
Most everybody has an opinion.
I just read some numbers and found that there is estimated to be more than two billion PCs in the world.
MAC is a close second at less than 100 million.
My math sucks but I believe that’s five percent, right?
The arguments you’ll hear from MAC users is that they have less viruses than PC.
That means that they have to have less than 5 bugs for every 100 PC gets.
PC Magazine estimates that there is a new virus strike once a day and that MACs get it only once every week.
That’s a bit more than MAC users claim.
The next claim is that MAC is more compatible with peripherals.
The few people I know who use MACs are always complaining to me about not being able to use all of the same products I do or about the issues they have.
On the plus side to that, MAC started using PC products on the inside so much of the modern MAC is a PC with an awkward operating system and a very feminine design.
And on that note we have the operating system: how counter intuitive is it to drag and drop items that you want to keep – INTO the trash/recycle bin?
If the 5% statistic is even close to accurate then why does the public school system use MAC to teach our kids, they can’t really be prepping kids for the real world, right?
That’s a whole other blog about how the public school system is simply a liberal indoctrination camp not meant to truly educate our kids in reality but indoctrinate them into their Godless, humanistic religions.
So what about that view – that liberal view?
Do you know anybody who is a conservative, who votes republican, who doesn’t wear Jesus-sandals and eats red meat who also uses a MAC?
