Helena, Montana - 02/26/2009 - Montana’s Senate passed constitutional Personhood Amendment, SB 406, in a 26-24 vote. The amendment, introduced by Senator Dan McGee, passed on its third reading on the Senate floor this morning. This is the first Personhood Amendment in U.S. history to pass a State Senate.
“Senator Dan McGee, writing the language of SB 406 himself, has shown what it truly means to be pro-life,” stated Keith Mason, of Personhood USA. “Senator McGee’s successful efforts on behalf of all human beings at all stages of human life are a giant step forward in historic efforts to ensure the rights and protection of every individual.”
SB 406, which defines person for the purposes of application of inalienable rights, states, “All persons are born free and have certain inalienable rights…person means a human being at all stages of human development of life, including the state of fertilization or conception, regardless of age, health, level of functioning, or condition of dependency.”
“Praise God! The honor of being the first State Senate in U.S. history to recognize the personhood of pre-born children goes to Montana,” commented Cal Zastrow of Personhood USA. “Thanks to the leadership of Sen. Dan McGee, The Montana Personhood Amendment now moves forward to the State House of Representatives.”
SB 406 must continue on to pass the Montana House of Representatives with a majority vote of 74. Once it passes, it is to immediately become a part of the state’s constitution. The race is on between Montana and North Dakota for the first Personhood legislation in our nation’s history, as Montana’s Personhood Amendment continues on to its House of Representatives, and North Dakota’s Personhood legislation continues on to its Senate.

Alan Keyes, a 2008 presidential candidate who is also a plaintiff in one of the many lawsuits challenging Barack Obama’s constitutional eligibility to occupy the Oval Office, charged at a pro-life rally that unless Obama’s social and economic policies are stopped, the United States as we know it is over.
Keyes’ comments were part of an interview with a reporter from KHAS-TV at a fundraiser for the AAA Crisis Pregnancy Center in Hastings, Neb.
“Obama is a radical communist, and I think it is becoming clear. That is what I told people in Illinois and now everybody realizes it’s true,” said Keyes, who ran unsuccessfully against Obama for the state’s open Senate seat in 2004. “He is going to destroy this country, and we are either going to stop him or the United States of America is going to cease to exist.”
Keyes also reasserted his belief that unless the question of Obama’s eligibility to serve as president is answered definitively, America may face the startling crisis of an executive branch run by a “usurper.”
“Is he president of the United States?” Keyes asked the reporter of Obama. “According to the Constitution, in order to be eligible for president you have to be a natural born citizen. He has refused to provide proof.”
“I’m not sure he’s even president of the United States,” Keyes continued, “neither are many of our military people now who are now going to court to ask the question, ‘Do we have to obey a man who is not qualified under the constitution?’ We are in the midst of the greatest crisis this nation has ever seen, and if we don’t stop laughing about it and deal with it, we’re going to find ourselves in the midst of chaos, confusion and civil war.”
Keyes, who stated he refuses even to refer to Obama as president, labeled the man in the Oval Office as “somebody who is kind of an alleged usurper, who is alleged to be someone who is occupying that office without constitutional warrant to do so.”
Keyes’ comments included harsh criticism of Obama’s policies on immigration, abortion, and the mortgage crisis. He concluded the interview by railing against the president’s push for hundreds of billions of dollars in government economic stimulus spending.
“We are claiming that a bankrupt government can save a bankrupt banking system,” Keyes said. “The fact that we have just elected an individual – who may or may not be qualified – and he presents silly ideas like this and says, ‘Let’s move forward now,’ and we’re all acting like the laws of economics have been repealed and we can actually afford to foot the bill with money nobody’s got, this is insane.
“It’s got to lead to the collapse of our economy,” Keys declared, “and it’s going to.”
WND has reported on multiple legal challenges, including Keyes’ case, that have alleged Obama does not meet the “natural born citizen” clause of the U.S. Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, which reads, “No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.”
Some claim he was not born in Hawaii, as he insists, but in Kenya. Obama’s American mother, the suits contend, was too young at the time of his birth to confer American citizenship to her son under the law at the time.
Other challenges have focused on Obama’s citizenship through his father, a Kenyan subject to the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom at the time of his birth, thus making him a dual citizen. The cases contend the framers of the Constitution excluded dual citizens from qualifying as natural born.
The Keyes case is being handled largely by Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation, but others playing a key role in the legal actions include Orly Taitz of California as well as Philip Berg, both of whom already have had their arguments rejected as not worthy of hearing by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Here is a partial listing and status update for some of the cases over Obama’s eligibility:
New Jersey attorney Mario Apuzzo has filed a case on behalf of Charles Kerchner and others alleging Congress didn’t properly ascertain that Obama is qualified to hold the office of president.
Philip J. Berg, a Pennsylvania Democrat, demanded that the courts verify Obama’s original birth certificate and other documents proving his American citizenship. Berg’s latest appeal, requesting an injunction to stop the Electoral College from selecting the 44th president, was denied.
Leo Donofrio of New Jersey filed a lawsuit claiming Obama’s dual citizenship disqualified him from serving as president. His case was considered in conference by the U.S. Supreme Court but denied a full hearing.
Cort Wrotnowski filed suit against Connecticut’s secretary of state, making a similar argument to Donofrio. His case was considered in conference by the U.S. Supreme Court, but was denied a full hearing.
Former presidential candidate Alan Keyes headlines a list of people filing a suit in California, in a case handled by the United States Justice Foundation, that asks the secretary of state to refuse to allow the state’s 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office. The case is pending, and lawyers are seeking the public’s support.
Chicago attorney Andy Martin sought legal action requiring Hawaii Gov. Linda Lingle to release Obama’s vital statistics record. The case was dismissed by Hawaii Circuit Court Judge Bert Ayabe.
Lt. Col. Donald Sullivan sought a temporary restraining order to stop the Electoral College vote in North Carolina until Barack Obama’s eligibility could be confirmed, alleging doubt about Obama’s citizenship. His case was denied.
In Ohio, David M. Neal sued to force the secretary of state to request documents from the Federal Elections Commission, the Democratic National Committee, the Ohio Democratic Party and Obama to show the presidential candidate was born in Hawaii. The case was denied.
In Washington state, Steven Marquis sued the secretary of state seeking a determination on Obama’s citizenship. The case was denied.
In Georgia, Rev. Tom Terry asked the state Supreme Court to authenticate Obama’s birth certificate. His request for an injunction against Georgia’s secretary of state was denied by Georgia Superior Court Judge Jerry W. Baxter.
California attorney Orly Taitz has brought a case, Lightfoot vs. Bowen, on behalf of Gail Lightfoot, the vice presidential candidate on the ballot with Ron Paul, four electors and two registered voters.
The governor’s office in Hawaii said there is a valid certificate but rejected requests for access and left ambiguous its origin: Does the certificate on file with the Department of Health indicate a Hawaii birth or was it generated after the Obama family registered a Kenyan birth in Hawaii, which the state’s procedures allowed at the time?

This cartoon which appears in today’s NY Post depicts a national news story which made headlines yesterday about the cop who shot and killed a rampaging chimp in Connecticut. But the cops in the comic make a joke about the economic stimulus bill, which as you know is being pushed through by President Barack Obama. Here’s what Al Sharpton had to say in a statement released this morning:
“The cartoon in today’s New York Post is troubling at best given the historic racist attacks of African-Americans as being synonymous with monkeys. One has to question whether the cartoonist is making a less than casual reference to this when in the cartoon they have police saying after shooting a chimpanzee that “Now they will have to find someone else to write the stimulus bill.” Being that the stimulus bill has been the first legislative victory of President Barack Obama (the first African American president) and has become synonymous with him it is not a reach to wonder are they inferring that a monkey wrote the last bill?”
Jeesh, Rev. Al Sharpton is so racist himself that he sees the world through racist coloured glasses.
He’d call a Zebra racist for having more white than black stripes!
He seems to forget that Bush 2 was portrayed as a monkey by the press all through his term.
I think that assuming a monkey wrote the latest socialist porkulus Bill is an insult to monkeys the world over but it’s obvious the cartoonist was calling the author a monkey because of the Bill, not because of his race.
Colorado legislators are currently considering a bill that uses taxpayer dollars to give benefits to the same-sex partners of state employees–despite the fact that voters rejected a similar proposal on the 2006 ballot (Referendum I).
If passed, SB 88 would allow same-sex partners, who claim “intent” for their relationship to last, to get benefits packages, including health insurance, from the state.
This bill is estimated to cost taxpayers more than $100,000 a year, but many fear that number has been grossly underestimated by the state.
And at a time when Colorado is considering closing two prisons and cutting $225 million from schools, this legislation is financially irresponsible.
The people of Colorado can’t afford SB 88–especially during these though economic times.

Republicans sent letters to the President, held press conferences and pleaded with Senate and House co-workers.
Liberals did not listen.
The President is spending trillions of tax payer’s dollars and he’s only listening to 23% of American’s voices.
Noting that only three “Republicans (R.I.N.O.s)” voted for his socialist Bill, Barack Hussein Obama (Barry Soetoro) made the comment that while he wants the input of Republicans, at this time it’s not needed.

Republicans represent more than 68% (Gallup) of this Nation.
Only 23% of this Nation voted for the current President and he is still supposed to represent the entire Nation.
But he dismisses 41% of the elected Representatives and more than half of the Nation as steam rolls his socialist programs that are costing us trillions of dollars and putting us further into record National Debt.
And he’s been in Office what, 4 weeks?

Two theories:
The Sun’s output increases and decreases in cycles that has caused ice ages and warming through the solar system.

The second sounds like wild conjecture but NASA has video, studies and evidence to support their belief in this.
There is even a theory that we are actually in a binary star system and we’re coming up on our sister star, which warms the solar system, etc.

Recently, a documentary aired on the UK’s Channel 4, entitled “The Great Global Warming Swindle”, which challenged the prevailing political understanding that global warming is caused by man-made activity. The movie argues that it is in fact the sun that is responsible for the current changes in the Earth’s temperature and the film is riddled with the testimony of many scientists and climate experts, furthering a growing dissent to the man-made theory. After all, that’s all it is, a theory.

The “An American Expat in Southeast Asia” blog reports that Obama’s Indonesian schooling began when he was entered into the Roman Catholic, Franciscus Assisi Primary School on January 1, 1968 and sat in class 1B. He was registered under the name Barry Soetoro, serial number 203. School documents listed Barry Soetoro as an Indonesian citizen and his religion was listed as Islam. He will spend three years at Franciscus.
Catholic schools accept non-Catholics worldwide. Non-Catholic students are typically excused from religious instruction and ceremony.

Obama’s family moves from H Ramir Street to Dempo Street and Obama enters the 4th grade at the Besuki Primary School, a government school. He was enrolled as Barry Soetoro, Muslim.

All Indonesian students are required to study religion at school and a young Barry Soetoro, being a Muslim, would have been required to study Islam daily in school.
He would have been taught to read and write Arabic, to recite his prayers properly, to read and recite from the Quran and to study the laws of Islam.
In his autobiography, “Dreams From My Father,” Obama mentions studying the Quran and describes the public school as “a Muslim school.”
According to Tine Hahiyary, one of Obama’s teachers and the principal from 1971 through 1989, Barry actively took part in the Islamic religious lessons during his time at the school. His teacher was named Maimunah and she lived in the Puncak area, the Cianjur Regency. “I remembered that he had studied “mengaji” (recitation of the Quran)” Tine said.
Obama himself recalls, “In the Muslim school, the teacher wrote to tell mother I made faces during Koranic studies.”
Our guy in Jakarta writes: “The actual usage of the word ‘mengaji’ in Indonesian and Malaysian societies means the study of learning to recite the Quran in the Arabic language rather than the native tongue. “Mengagi” is a word and a term that is accorded the highest value and status in the mindset of fundamentalist societies here in Southeast Asia. To put it quite simply, ‘mengaji classes’ are not something that a non practicing or so-called moderate Muslim family would ever send their child to. To put this in a Christian context, this is something above and beyond simply enrolling your child in Sunday school classes.”
“The fact that Obama had attended mengaji classes is well known in Indonesia and has left many there wondering just when Obama is going to come out of the closet.”
“As I’ve stated before, the evidence seems to quite clearly show that both Ann Dunham and her husband Lolo Soetoro Mangunharjo were in fact devout Muslims themselves and they raised their son as such.”
These are the values of Obama’s church:
Commitment to God. “The God of our weary years” will give us the strength to give up prayerful passivism and become Black Christian Activists, soldiers for Black freedom and the dignity of all humankind.
Commitment to the Black Community. The highest level of achievement for any Black person must be a contribution of strength and continuity of the Black Community.
Commitment to the Black Family. The Black family circle must generate strength, stability and love, despite the uncertainty of externals, because these characteristics are required if the developing person is to withstand warping by our racist competitive society.
Those Blacks who are blessed with membership in a strong family unit must reach out and expand that blessing to the less fortunate.
Dedication to the Pursuit of Education. We must forswear anti-intellectualism. Continued survival demands that each Black person be developed to the utmost of his/her mental potential despite the inadequacies of the formal education process. “Real education” fosters understanding of ourselves as well as every aspect of our environment. Also, it develops within us the ability to fashion concepts and tools for better utilization of our resources, and more effective solutions to our problems. Since the majority of Blacks have been denied such learning, Black Education must include elements that produce high school graduates with marketable skills, a trade or qualifications for apprenticeships, or proper preparation for college.
Basic education for all Blacks should include Mathematics, Science, Logic, General Semantics, Participative Politics, Economics and Finance, and the Care and Nurture of Black minds.
Dedication to the Pursuit of Excellence. To the extent that we individually reach for, even strain for excellence, we increase, geometrically, the value and resourcefulness of the Black Community. We must recognize the relativity of one’s best; this year’s best can be bettered next year. Such is the language of growth and development. We must seek to excel in every endeavor.
Adherence to the Black Work Ethic. “It is becoming harder to find qualified people to work in Chicago.” Whether this is true or not, it represents one of the many reasons given by businesses and industries for deserting the Chicago area. We must realize that a location with good facilities, adequate transportation and a reputation for producing skilled workers will attract industry. We are in competition with other cities, states and nations for jobs. High productivity must be a goal of the Black workforce.
Commitment to Self-Discipline and Self-Respect. To accomplish anything worthwhile requires self-discipline. We must be a community of self-disciplined persons if we are to actualize and utilize our own human resources, instead of perpetually submitting to exploitation by others. Self-discipline, coupled with a respect for self, will enable each of us to be an instrument of Black Progress and a model for Black Youth.
Disavowal of the Pursuit of “Middleclassness.” Classic methodology on control of captives teaches that captors must be able to identify the “talented tenth” of those subjugated, especially those who show promise of providing the kind of leadership that might threaten the captor’s control.
Those so identified are separated from the rest of the people by:
Killing them off directly, and/or fostering a social system that encourages them to kill off one another.
Placing them in concentration camps, and/or structuring an economic environment that induces captive youth to fill the jails and prisons.
Seducing them into a socioeconomic class system which, while training them to earn more dollars, hypnotizes them into believing they are better than others and teaches them to think in terms of “we” and “they” instead of “us.”
So, while it is permissible to chase “middleclassness” with all our might, we must avoid the third separation method – the psychological entrapment of Black “middleclassness.” If we avoid this snare, we will also diminish our “voluntary” contributions to methods A and B. And more importantly, Black people no longer will be deprived of their birthright: the leadership, resourcefulness and example of their own talented persons.
Pledge to Make the Fruits of All Developing and Acquired Skills Available to the Black Community.
Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting Black Institutions.
Pledge Allegiance to All Black Leadership Who Espouse and Embrace the Black Value System.
Personal Commitment to Embracement of the Black Value System. To measure the worth and validity of all activity in terms of positive contributions to the general welfare of the Black Community and the Advancement of Black People towards freedom.
Now substitute every word that says “black” with “white” and ask yourself if we would be racist or what would Jesse Jackson or Al say?
This does speak of harmony with our fellow Americans of all race.
Good Plan, Barack Hussein Obama:
Raise Taxes, spend those taxes faster than you can collect them and backrupt this nation by increasing our National Debt by $3 Trillion dollars in your first three weeks!
Way to kick start that recession you and your croonies have been dying for us to be in!
God only knows what you’ve got planned for the next three weeks or the next four years, at this rate.
