Oh Where Oh Where Have My Blog Posts Gone… March 4th, 2010

So I used to post on both this site and my YouTube site several times a weeks and often many times a day.
What happened, right?

I’ve been over on FaceBook and have almost completely forgotten my blog site here.

Sorry about that, folks.

Add me over on FaceBook and follow my posts, argue and debate - discuss and persuade.

I’ll try to start posting more regularly again here on my blog but you can always find me on my FaceBook page.

Conservative, Republican or “Third Party”? March 4th, 2010

I get it, I really do - nobody wants the other guy to win and we’ll get to that end by any means possible.

So during each vote, we’re asked to vote for the lesser of the two evils in order to achieve those ends.

For example, in 2008 only 23% of Americans wanted Barry Soetoro to win so republicans were telling us we had to vote for the lesser of the two evils in order to keep Barry out of Office.
Of course conservatives couldn’t vote for Barry’s white twin and we voted for an actual conservative, Christian who truly represented us.

Alan Keyes didn’t win but liberal republicans are blaming conservatives who voted conservative (third party) rather than “republican lesser of the two evils” for Barry’s win.

Another example is the Massachusetts Senate race, won by Scott Brown.
Brown ran as a republican and republicans pushed him because he opposes Barry’s healthcare plan.

As a conservative & a Christian I would not have voted for Brown because he supports abortion.
The liberal republican gives me all sorts of trash for this because I would have voted third party and the liberal candidate may have won the Senate race and Barry’s healthcare would have sailed through the Senate.
I’m told I “split the republican vote” when I should have supported Brown because he agrees with nearly all of the other issues; aside from his nude magazine spreads and all the children he’s allowed to be killed.
You know - little details like that!

So we’re told (we conservatives) that rather than “split the vote” and allow the greater of the two evils to win - we need to compromise our faith, our priciples and our practices by voting for the lesser of the two evils who the republicans offer as a candidate.

To whom are we responsible?
Our “republican” brothers or our God & His children?
And (as if we could) even if we set aside our faith/beliefs, don’t we have a responsibility to vote for the right candidate in spite of the pressure to vote lesser of the two evils?
If we vote for Brown just to achieve the defeat of healthcare socialization, then Brown goes on to continue to spend our tax dollars killing Americans in the womb, we’ve done a disservice to our fellow Americans by voting for our personal gain and not the gain of the Country on the whole.

What we need to be doing is gathering our votes and continuing to vote for the right candidates so that the republican party gets the hint and starts offering conservatives for whom we can vote so that conservatives will be able to return to the republican party and support that candidate - not as the “lesser of the two evils” but as a true representative of Americans.

But it’s your call, America
If you’re afraid to make a difference, vote for the lesser of the two evils.
If you’re afraid of liberalism and socialism - vote for the candidate who truly represents the conservative.
